"EXPERIENCE"

I had a lot of fun creating this video! It was very fun and interesting learning DaVinci Resolve coming from Premiere Pro, and it really surprised me with how simple everything was! The one hiccup I had using this program was the exporting stage, it was a little confusing as it did not specify which format to upload in but eventually I got it.

Shooting each scene in different angles was very fun! I tried my best to be very creative with angles and shots, and even tried to be smart with transitions. The style in which I created this video is more-so something eventually built for myself. It contains a fun yet professional vibe. Throughout the video, I used Japanese Kaomojis, which are cute emoticons! Along with the Animal Crossing City Folk music and "Wow" sound effect, it made the video overall entertaining to watch!

There were no mess-ups during filming, however there was a very big pressure on messing up since it is a cooking video and it is very hard to fix or repeat when filming. For recording the voiceovers, I found parts of my script either being removed or shortened due to the filming and editing of the scenes. Ultimately, it was not a problem and I was able to work my way around it!

During the editing process, I wanted to make sure each detail was met and exceeded. Meaning, the voiceover and transitions and cuts between each scene had to work cohesively. I am very happy and confident with how I edited this video :) I love being able to express creativity through media and this assignment really helped me show off what I learnt!
